I am writing this email as a long time resident of Milton who is against the proposed plans to: revise, rezone,
increase density or permitting that involves Birmingham Highway, Birmingham Road, Bethany Bend and Webb
Road. (Agenda Item Nos. 18-080, 18-081, 18-082 & 18-083)
We moved out of Alpharetta to Milton because of the unique character and emphasis on keeping the area
under -developed and having a somewhat rural feel. The quick access to amenities on the 400 corridor make it
an ideal location to live. However, in recent years - I'm finding this area to be developing at a fast pace and
does not have the infrastructure (roads etc.) to support all the new residents and traffic... We already have
nearby Storage facilities that are not 100% at capacity, likewise many new Senior Housing facilities and a
Private School on Bethany Bend already...
In my opinion, we are just building duplicate un -needed facilities at the expense of our land and
existing communities. This goes against the spirit of what this City/Town was incorporated for. I've recently
contemplated moving as the vehicular traffic is growing and green space is shrinking rapidly.
I won't be able to attend tonight's meeting but please ensure my comments are noted against these
proposals.
Regards,
LeVar Fraiser
