HOME OF ` ' MILTON ESTABLISHED 2006 MEETING MINUTES CITY OF MILTON PARKS AND RECREATION ADVISORY BOARD SPECIAL CALLED MEETING Monday, March 9, 2015 5:00 p.m. Council Chambers, Milton City Hall CALL TO ORDER Meeting was called to order by Chairman Mark Reed at 5:00 p.m. ROLL CALL Roll call was taken by Mark Reed. MEMBERS PRESENT Joey Costanzo Dave Duley Ron Hill Mark Reed Sue Rekuc David Shannon Scott Stachowski OTHERS PRESENT Jim Cregge, Parks and Recreation Director Tom Gilliam, Recreation Program Coordinator Ken Jarrard, City Attorney Quorum was announced by Mark Reed. APPROVAL OF MEETING AGENDA A motion to approve the Meeting Agenda was made by Dave Duley and seconded by Sue Rekuc. The vote was unanimous and motion carried. UNFINISHED BUSINESS 1. Next was a discussion on the data associated with the spreadsheet used by the PRAB in their evaluation of the two programs. Jim Cregge reported that both parties had reviewed the data, submitted updates, and then verified in writing that the data is accurate. Sue Rekuc made a motion to ratify the data chart. Dave Shannon seconded the motion. The vote was 5 — 0 in favor. The next action was to open the floor for a timed presentation by each parry. Mr. Matt Dawson spoke on behalf of the NFL YFL and Mr. Bill Weaver spoke on behalf of the AYFA/NAFL. Public comment was closed and the topic was briefly discussed by the Advisory Board. A motion was made by Scott Stachowski to recommend to the Milton Council the AYFA/NAFL as the tackle football provider for the city. The motion was seconded by Sue Rekuc. The motion passed by a 4 — 1 vote with Joey Costanzo in dissent. ADJOURNMENT 1. The motion to adjourn was made by Dave Duley. The motion was seconded by Mark Reed. The vote was 7 — 0 in favor. The meeting was declared adjourned @ 5:47 PM.
