PUBLIC COMMENT
Adrienne rides her horse at Birmingham Park on regular basis. She will sometimes
encounter dogs unleashed, and has once been chased by an aggressive dog
which led to a very unsafe situation for herself, her horse and the dog. She
would like additional signage to let people know about trail etiquette.
Discussion after comment included: coming up with trail etiquette guidelines for
Parks and Recreations to post and possibly write an article for the Milton Herald
to make the public aware of horses and how to interact with them. Equestrian
etiquette guidelines should include bikes, drones, cars and dogs.
