PLANNING COMMISSION ACTION MINUTES

2. Call to Order -The meeting was called to order at 6:00 p.m.
3. Public Comment -There was no public comment.
4. Approval of Action Minutes
a) February 27, 2019 Planning Commission Meeting
A motion was made by Fred Edwards and seconded by Ron Gilbert to
APPROVE the minutes as presented by Staff. The motion passed
unanimously 7-0.
b) March 27, 2019 Planning Commission Meeting
A motion was made by Kurt Nolte and seconded by Fred Edwards to
APPROVE the minutes as presented by Staff. The motion passed
unanimously 7-0.
5. Preliminary Plat
a) Cogburn Creek Subdivision -11 lots on 14 .326 acres located on the west
side of Cogburn Road, Land Lots 690 and 7 51 of the 2/2 by Georgia-
Tennessee Development Partners LLC -
A motion was made by Ron Gilbert and seconded by Mark Bittner to
recommend approval as presented with the following issues to be
addressed: 1) Engineering Study for Detention, 2) Downstream impact of
silting issues ; 3) Traffic. The motion passed unanimously 7-0.

Use Permit
a) U19-01/VC19-01 -1470 Redd Road by Evera Premo for a Use Permit for a
Private School (SEC . 64-1831) Kindergarten through e ighth grade for 80
students. A request for two concurrent variances ( 1) delete the 75-foot
undisturbed buffer and 10 -foot improvement setback along the east
property line (SEC 64 -1143 (A)(3)(B)) and (2) delete the 100-foot setback
along the east property line where the existing structures are
located (SEC 64 -1831 (B) (3)). -(The applicant has requested to WITHDRAW
this request.)
A motion was made by Ron Gilbert and seconded by Fred Edwards to
recommend WITHDRAWAL. The motion passed unanimously 7-0.
Adjourn -A motion was made by Fred Edwards and seconded by Kurt
Nolte to adjourn the meeting at 6:28 p.m. The motion passed unanimously
7-0.
