Request(s):
• A use permit for a private school (Sec. 64-1831) kindergarten
through eighth grade for 80 students. Two concurrent variances to
(1) delete the 75 foot undisturbed buffer and 10 foot improvement
setback along the east property line (Sec. 64-1143 (A)(3)(B)) and (2)
delete the 100 foot setback along the east property line where the
existing structures are located (Sec. 64-1831(B)(3)).
Comments:
• Not a hardship
• The proximity of the intersection and driveway is dangerous
• The buffer concerns due to the change of use
• Do not eliminate the buffer
• The traffic being a concern in the future
• The school outgrows the building
• The use does not make sense
