Approval of February meeting minutes Motion to Approve: Todd Chernik 2nd: Brenda Hamstead Vote: 7-0, Motion Approved 6. Consideration of Primary Variances a. V20-08, 870 Owens Lake Road Request(s): • To reduce the rear yard setback from fifty feet to twenty five feet. (Sec. 64-416, d) Motion to Approve with Conditions: Todd Chernik Conditions: • Prior to building permit issuance, a 25’ non-disturbance easement shall be recorded in the deed book, for the length of property along the Brubaker property line. • Shall be substantially compliant to the concept site plan dated 2/11/2020, to have final designs approved by the City Architect. 2nd: Kim Keller Vote: 7-0, Motion Approved b. V20-09, 330 Dorris Road Request(s): • To allow an existing accessory structure to be located in the front yard. (Sec. 64-416, i) • To allow a proposed accessory structure to be located in the front yard. (Sec. 64-416, i) Motion to Approve with Conditions: Todd Chernik Conditions: • According the site plan by Brumbelow-Reese and Associates dated 12/6/2019. 2nd: Jake Ward Vote: 7-0, Motion Approved c. V20-10, 600 Hickory Flat Road Request(s): • To allow an accessory structure to be located in the front yard. (Sec. 64-416, i) Motion to Approve with Conditions: Hodge Patel Conditions: • To be approved from an architectural standard by the City Architect. • The City Arborist to approve the landscape buffer along Hickory Flat Road. • Accordance to the boundary survey by Foothills Land Surveying LLC dated 3/4/2020 2nd: Brenda Hamstead Vote: 7-0, Motion Approved d. V20-11, 1049 Summit View Lane Request(s): • To allow an accessory structure to be located in the side yard setback. (Sec. 64-416, i) Motion to Approve with Conditions: Jason Cole Conditions: • Without a fireplace. • Per site plan by Georgia Classic Pools dated 4/23/2020. • Landscaping plan approved by the City Arborist for road frontage buffer. 2nd: Jake Ward Vote: 7-0, Motion Approved 7. Consideration of Appeals/Secondary Variances 8. Old business a. Make sure all of the board has set up their city emails. 9. New business a. To set up time to train the board members on the Tree Canopy Conservation Ordinance, once adopted by City Council. 10. Adjournment
