Update on Senior Sponsorship for Thanksgiving
Teri Harrison updated the group on the seniors we are supporting during
Thanksgiving through the Senior Sponsorship Program of North Fulton
Community Charities. They were provided with two nicely prepared
baskets containing various food items. In addition, they were also given
gifts cards to purchase additional food items.
Gift Card for Support of Family at Christmas
Teri also reported on the local family that we plan to help during the
Holidays. Donations are being collected in order to purchase a gift card
from Kroger. While the family is struggling with several challenges, food

seems to be the greatest need at this time. Donations will continue to be
collected from our group until December 14.
Communiteen Event on December 14
Ansley Bradwell reported on the Communiteen Event planned for
December 14 at the Bethwell Community Center. The event will be held
from 3:00 to 5:00 pm. Plans include a gift exchange, decorating cookies and
collecting funds to donate to North Fulton Community Charities.
Dinner
Dinner was outstanding! Attendees brought side dishes and Nancilee
prepared kabobs for cooking on the grill. Our grill master, Ken Wolfe,
prepared every single kabob to the liking of each person.
White Elephant Gift Exchange and Fun
Karen and Maddy Stanley explained the rules and led the group in a white
elephant gift exchange. We had a lot of fun with no fighting involved,
although we were close a couple of times!
Next Meeting – Bethwell Community Center – January 13, 2014
