Members Present: Charlie Roberts, Beniquez Palmer, Jeff Dufresne, Reid Casey, Lee Collins Absent: Laura Wysong 2) Introduction of Board Members 3) Approval of Agenda Motion to Approve the Agenda: Reid Casey 2nd: Jeff Dufresne Vote: 5-0 (Approved) 4) Approval of July meeting minutes Motion to Approved the meeting minutes: Reid Casey 2nd: Lee Collins Vote: 5-0 (Approved) 5) Demos a. 170 Dorris Road Milton, GA 30004 Request(s): Demolition of existing residence. Motion to Approve: Reid Casey 2nd: Lee Collins Vote: 5-0 (Approved) b. 14013 Tree Loft Road Request(s): Demolition of existing residence due to total loss fire. Motion to Approve: Reid Casey 2nd: Lee Collins Vote: 5-0 (Approved) c. 3320-3370 Long street Road Request(s): Demolition of existing home sites, one home located at 3320 and one home and garage at 3370.(The subdivision plat is in the review for this development) Motion to Approve: Reid Casey 2nd: Lee Collins Vote: 5-0 (Approved) 6) Courtesy Reviews a. V21-16, 14635 Birmingham Highway Request(s): • To allow the opaque fence along the exterior street to remain as built (Section 64-417(a)(4)). • To allow the fence to be higher than allowed 5 feet height (Section 64- 417 (a)(2)). Comments: The DRB recommends approval of the variance. The DRB recommends getting support letters from neighbors. The DRB recommends having a landscape plan approved by the City arborist for a portion of the fence visible from the road. b. V21-17, 13902 Tree Loft Road Request(s): • To allow the opaque fence along the exterior street to remain as built (Section 64-417(a)(4)). • To allow the fence to be higher than allowed 5 feet height (Section 64- 417 (a)(2)). Comments: The DRB recommends approval of the variances with condition of landscaping to be maintained to hide the visibility of the existing fence. c. V21-18, 13912 Tree Loft Road Request(s): • To allow the opaque fence along the exterior street to remain as built (Section 64-417(a)(4)). • To allow the fence to be higher than allowed 5 feet height (Section 64- 417 (a)(2)). Announcement that City offers stipend to the board members for attending DRB meetings. Sign up with HR to start receiving payment. 9) Old business a. 12595 Crabapple Road: Renovation of 1920’s house into beer and wine market. Adding KEG cooler to the building that was previously approved by DRB in May 2021. Motion to Approve: Jeff Dufresne 2nd: Lee Collins Vote: 5-0 (Approved) 10) Adjournment
