Councilmember Absent: Councilmember Rick Mohrig and Carol Cookerly. 3) PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE (Led by Mayor Joe Lockwood) 4) APPROVAL OF MEETING AGENDA (Add or remove items from the agenda) (Agenda Item No. 20-163) Motion and Vote: Councilmember Longoria moved to approve the Meeting Agenda. Councilmember Bentley seconded the motion. The motion passed (5-0). Councilmembers Mohrig and Cookerly were absent from the meeting. 5) PUBLIC COMMENT 6) NEW BUSINESS 1. Consideration of An Amended Emergency Ordinance of the Mayor and Council of the City of Milton, Georgia under Section 3.18 of the Charter of the City of Milton, Georgia to Provide for the Operation of the City of Milton, Georgia During the Public Emergency Known as the Novel Coronavirus Disease 2019 Global MILTON CITY COUNCIL SPECIAL CALLED COUNCIL MEETING JUNE 8, 2020 Page 2 of 2 Persons needing special accommodations in order to participate in any City meeting should call 678.242.2500. Pandemic; to Become Effective Upon Adoption by the Council; to Supersede the Existing Emergency Ordinance; to Adopt the City’s Reopening Plan; and for Other Purposes. (Agenda Item No. 20-164) (Ken Jarrard, City Attorney) Motion and Vote: Councilmember Bentley moved to approve Agenda Item No. 20- 164. Councilmember Longoria seconded the motion. The motion passed (5-0). Councilmembers Mohrig and Cookerly were absent from the meeting. 7) ADJOURNMENT (Agenda Item No. 20-165) Motion and Vote: Councilmember Longoria moved to adjourn the meeting at 6:14 pm. Councilmember Moore seconded the motion. The motion passed (5-0). Councilmembers Mohrig and Cookerly were absent from the meeting.
