AN ORDINANCE TO CREATE A NEW USE PERMIT - ASSEMBLY HALL, INDOOR
AUDITORIUM (SEC. 64-1864)
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Milton, GA while in a regularly called
council meeting on February 7, 2022, at 6:00 p.m. as follows:
SECTION 1. That the new use permit for assembly hall, indoor auditorium (Sec.
64-1864) is adopted and approved; and is attached hereto as if fully set forth
herein, and;
SECTION 2. All ordinances, parts of ordinances, or regulations in conflict herewith
are repealed.
SECTION 3. That this Ordinance shall become effective upon its adoption.

fad Assembly Hall Indoor Auditorium in the Deerfield Form -Based Code or the
Crabapple Form -Based Code shall only be permitted subiect to the issuance of a use
permit.
IJ Standards.
ll Days and Hours of Operations shall be limited to the following:
i Sunday through Thursday, 7 a.m. to 10 p.m
J. Friday and Saturday, 7 a.m. to 11 p.m.
(2) Deliveries shall be limited to Sunday through Saturday, 7:30 a.m. to 7:30p.m.
(3) No amplified sound permitted unless it is within a fully enclosed structure.
(4) The maximum number of attendees at events held will be evaluated by the mayor
and city council on a case -by -case basis for each site to protect the Public's health,
safety and welfare Any such determination shall not supersede any occupancy
restriction contained in any other ordinance, code, statute, rule or regulation or other
law.
(5) The owner or operator must hold all other appropriate licenses and permits.
