September 13, 2022- Action Report Motion to Approve the minutes: Doug Hene 2nd: Casey Robinson Vote: 4-0 (Approved) 5. DEMOLITION OF STRUCTURES A. 13990 Freemanville Road Applicant: Mike Reed/Mike Hammersmith General Contracting, Inc. Request:  • Demolish existing toolshed/barn Motion to Approve: Casey Robinson 2nd: Rachel Greathouse Vote: 4-0 (Approved) Lee Collins joined the meeting. B. 16235 Birmingham Highway Applicant: Steve McGlamery/Perry Development Group Request:  • Demolish a house Motion to Approve: Doug Hene 2nd: Rachel Greathouse Vote: 5-0 (Approved) C. 15345 Tullgean Drive (deferred from last month) Applicant: Scott Reese/Brumbelow-Reese & Associates  Request:  • Demolish existing barn and wood building Motion to Approve: Doug Hene 2nd: Lee Collins Vote: 5-0 (Approved) 6. COURTESY REVIEWS A. V22-20, 1135 Nix Road Applicant: John & Shannon Quidley Request(s):  • To allow a proposed barn to encroach into the 100-foot building setback for housing animals by 40 feet. (Sec. 64-415 (4)(a)). Comments: DRB recommends approval of the variance request. DRB notes that the proposed material colors were natural wood for roof, and brown stain for siding of the barn. B. V22-21, 16175 Birmingham Highway Applicant: Wes Hughes  Request(s):  • To allow the existing home to remain in the City of Milton’s 50-foot stream buffer and 75-foot impervious setback. (Sec. 20-426(1)(2)). Motion to Hold the petition for 30 days until next DRB: Doug Hene 2nd: Charlie Robins Vote: 5-0 (Approved) C. V22-22, 2330 Saddlesprings Drive Applicant: Joseph Lampl  Request(s):  • To allow an existing barn to encroach into the 100-foot building setback for housing animals by 33 feet. (Sec. 64-415 (4)(a)) • To allow a proposed greenhouse to encroach into the 50-foot rear setback by 30 feet. (Section 64-416 (d)). Comments: DRB recommends approval of both variances. D. V22-22, 160 Deerhaven Lane Applicant: Martin Anker  Request(s):  • To allow a proposed tennis court to encroach into the 75-foot impervious setback. (Sec. 20-426(2)).
