DEMOLITION OF STRUCTURES A. 2335 Bethany Bend Applicant: Drew Clough / Waterford Homes Request(s):  • Demolition of the existing house, shed, block wall, and gravel driveway. V23-18, 565 Blue Heron Way Applicant: Hunter Hamm Request(s):  • To reduce the 50-foot minimum rear yard to 6.4 feet for an existing accessory structure playground along the east property line (Sec. 64-416(d)). Comments: The Design Review Board recommends approval of V23-18, 565 Blue Heron Way to the Board of Zoning Appeals as it adequately addresses the concerns of the HOA from a design and aesthetic standpoint, and with sufficient plant screening to ensure that the children’s playset is hidden. The Board also recommends that the applicant obtain letters of support from the neighbors who live in Laurel Grove. 7. FINAL REVIEWS A. Reliant Building, 860 Mayfield Road – Deferred from 10/03/23 DRB Meeting Applicants: Steve Rowe Request(s):  • Review of site/landscape plan of a proposed site for a new corporate office building. NEW BUSINESS Proposed DRB Meeting Schedule for 2024 Motion to Approve the Proposed DRB Meeting Schedule for 2024 with a change to the proposed January DRB meeting date from January 2, 2024, to January 9, 2024: Ken Warlick Second: Reid Casey Vote: 5-0 (Approved) 9. OLD BUSINESS Update on Demolition Plan Application for 13325 Arnold Mill Road Staff provided the following update on the demolition permit application: A demolition permit application was submitted to Community Development for review on September 15, 2023. A “Correction Notice” was provided to the applicant on October 2, 2023, to address the feedback from plan reviewers. Code Enforcement and Building staff members met with the applicant on-site to assess the conditions of the shed and front portion of the chicken house. Staff investigated these remaining structures and determined that all structures are deemed unsafe, and the property owner is hereby directed to abate the non-compliant and unsafe conditions of the structures per the Determination Letter of the City of Milton Building Official. The applicant decided to demolish all structures on the property located at 13325 Arnold Mill Road, Milton, GA 30004. The applicant will resubmit the updated site plan to address the comments from reviewers and include all structures to be demolished. This resubmittal will be reviewed again by the city staff. 10.
