AN ORDINANCE FOR RESCISSION OF AN EXISTING USE PERMIT
FOR A "BED AND BREAKFAST" LOCATED AT 14505 BATESVILLE ROAD
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council for the City of Milton, Georgia, while in regular
session on August 4, 2025 , at 6:00 p .m . as follows :
WHEREAS, pursuant to Ordinance No. 14-08-215, on August 18, 2014 , a Use
Permit for a Bed and Breakfast was approved by the City of Milton located at 14505
Batesville Road ("2014 Bed and Breakfast Use Permit"); and
WHEREAS , on August 4, 2025 , the City of Milton approved a new Use Permit
for a Rural Event Facility on approximately 35 .87 acres of property located at 14505
Batesville Road ("2025 Rural Event Facility Use Permit "); and
WHEREAS , in light of the approval of the 2025 Rural Event Facility Use Permit ,
the City of Milton finds that rescission of the 2014 Bed and Breakfast Use Permit is in
the public interest;
SECTION 1. That the 2014 Bed and Breakfast Use Permit is rescinded and of
no further validity, and no operations shall be permitted pursuant thereto; and
SECTION 2. That all ordinances or part of ordinances in conflict with the
terms of this ordinance are hereby repealed; and
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall become effective upon adoption by the
Mayor and City Council and the signature of approval of the Mayor.
