Committee members reviewed and approved the meeting minutes from March 12, 2014 Old Business: • A motion was made and approved for the changes to the Business Packet. • How many copies, and exactly how to package the information is still up for discussion. • Passing it out at the Earth Day Festival appears to be good idea. New Business: • Nancy Lee will be filling the position of Renee Catanzaro. • Paul Schiell will continue in his position. • Sue Sharp will take the position of Anise Castleberry whose term runs through December of 2015. • Van Black was nominated and elected Vice Chair. • The Earth Day event is coming up soon. • People can test or try out what it feels like to use a wheelchair. • Members of the youth sports team the Titans will be present at MDAC Earth Day booth. • The MDAC booth will have an obstacle course. • There was general discussion about the booth and how it plans to operate. • Lots of discussion on who will be bringing what supplies. • Various food booths will be present at the event. • Ken Woods offered to bring some water bottles. • Paul Schiell was able to get some ear protection and will help facilitate the hearing table. • No alcohol is allowed at the Earth Day event. • Nancy Lee is bringing some rope to the event and Tass reached out to her congregation to see who might be able to contribute. • MDAC is grateful for the willingness of the Titans to participate in the Earth Day festivities. Page 10f2 Tass Welch asked for a motion to adjourn. Ken Woods made a motion to adjourn and Van Black seconded the motion. The vote was unanimous to adjourn.
