Meeting Minutes
March 8, 2017
Committee Members In Attendance: James Keating, Van Black, Hope Winograd, Tass Welch and
Paul Schie ll
MDAC Liaison: Sudie Gordon
Guests in Attendance: N /A
Tass Welch called the meeting to order. The motion passed unanimously. (5-0)
Committee members reviewed and approved the meeting minutes from February 8, 2017. Van Black
made the motion to approve the minutes and Hope Winograd seconded the motion. The motion
passed unanimously. (5-0)
New Business:
• Paul went to Alpharetta to discuss MDAC and how to go about possibly expanding into
other cities in North Fulton.
• Paul was able to meet with an Alpharetta city worker at city hall and explained a lot
more about MDAC.
• The City of Alpharetta was going to pitch something about MDAC to the city council at
the next meeting.
• MDAC will wait to hear back from the City of Alpharetta on what the next steps are in
possibly expanding the committee into Alpharetta.
• The new Milton City Hall opens soon and is said to be a state of the art facility.
Old Business:
• The committee continued discussing plans for the Milton Earth Day event
• MDAC is still attempting to have the Titans come to the booth for the Earth Day event
• James is interested in having a few accessibility products present at the MDAC Earth Day
tent.
• Tass will follow up after Earth Day event on the possibility of meeting with the 6 Mayors.
• The congregation at Tass's church is very interested in hearing about AXSMAP and
North Fulton Wheels .
• The committee will aim for meeting with the congregation on June 11 th .
• North Fulton Wheels continues working hard at rating restaurants and retail stores in
the area.
• Earth Day will be from lOam until 2pm this year on April zznct .
• Dudley will have a couple of dogs brought to the Earth Day event.

• James is going to try and bring a head device that serves as a speechless computer
cursor device .
• The City of Milton expects 5,000 -10,000 people to attend the 2017 Earth Day event
Van Black moved to adjourn the meeting and James Keating seconded the motion. The vote was
unanimous t o adjourn. The next meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at 7:00 pm.
