To the City of Milton
WHEREAS, Bill Lusk has a long history of tirelessly serving the city of Milton and its residents
since the city's inception in 2006; and
WHEREAS, he was elected as council member to represent District 3 in 2006 and has served
in that capacity continuously to this day.
WHEREAS, prior to incorporation, Bill became involved in local issues through his
appointment to the Northwest Design Review Board and served as a member of
the City of Milton Organizing Committee.
WHEREAS, Bill is a Vietnam veteran, having served with the U.S. Navy and as a council
member, organized the Milton Memorial Day Ceremony.
WHEREAS, in addition to his work as a city council member, Bill created the Fallen Veterans
marker display seen twice a year; and
WHEREAS he builds each marker and oversees their installation.
WHEREAS Bill is also an active member of the Friends of the Milton Library and helped design
and build the book barn located just outside of the main library.
WHEREAS, Bill has selflessly given countless hours of his personal time to work for and with the
citizens of Milton to make this a city that its residents are proud to call home.
NOW, THEREFORE, we, the Mayor and City Council of the City of Milton, hereby recognize and,
with heartfelt gratitude, thank Bill Lusk for his dedicated service to the City and to its citizens.
