Adoption/Amendment of Agenda Motion to approve: Christopher Bloor 2nd: Sumeet Shaw Vote: 4-0, Motion approved 4. Approval of July meeting minutes Motion to approve: Todd Chernik 2nd: Sumeet Shaw Vote: 4-0, Motion approved 5. Consideration of Primary Variances a. V14-011, 234 Burlwood Drive, Debra Carmody Request(s): To allow a recreational court to encroach into the 50 foot rear setback (Section 64-1602, b,1) Motion to withdraw: Todd Chernik 2nd: Christopher Bloor Vote: 4-0, Motion approved b. V14-012, 15800 Birmingham Highway, Birmingham Village, Leonard Jacklett Request(s): To reduce the 50 foot buffer to 10 feet, in order to add parking (Section 64-1141,3b) Motion to approve with conditions: Walter Rekuc Conditions: 1. Parking lot islands and buffer plantings around this new parking area shall meet Ordinance requirements. Landscape plan to be approved by the City Arborist. 2. Buffer shall be re-vegetated to provide screening for the adjacent property and Hickory Flat Road. Landscape plan to be approved by the City Arborist. 3. A five foot high, four board, black fence with welded wire shall be placed along the west property line. 4. Lighting of the new parking lot shall be directed away from the western property. 5. Lighting from the fixtures on the new parking lot shall not leave this site. 6. No overnight parking for licensed commercial vehicles shall be allowed in the new parking area. 2nd: Christopher Bloor Vote: 5-0*, Motion approved; * Walter Rekuc joined the meeting. c. V14-013, 100 Hopewell Grove Drive, Lisa Strawn Requests(s):  To allow an accessory structure (a garage) to be located in the front yard  To allow an accessory structure (a garage) to be located in the side corner setback (Section 64-416,i) Motion to defer until next month: Christopher Bloor 2nd: Walter Rekuc Vote: 5-0, Motion approved 6.
