Approval of August meeting minutes Motion to approve: Walter Rekuc 2nd: Todd Chernik Vote: 5-0, Motion approved 4. V11-011, 1995 Birmingham Road, Walter Matthews Request(s): To allow an accessory structure to be located in the front yard (Article/Section 64-416,i) Motion to defer until the next meeting: Walter Rekuc 2nd: Nancy Plesnarski Vote: 5-0, Motion approved 5. V11-014 2825 Mountain Road, James Sutton Request(s): To allow a house and garage addition to encroach into the front yard setback (Article/Section 64-1094.D) Motion to approve with conditions: Walter Rekuc Conditions:  To allow a maximum encroachment of 25 feet into the front yard setback.  All materials used for the addition shall match the existing house (paint color, brick color, siding color, roof material and color, etc.)  The applicant shall provide a current and accurate survey showing the extent of the property, all existing improvements. The proposed addition should be shown accurately on this survey prior to issuance of a building permit. 2nd: Rita Young Vote: 4-1, Motion approved 6. V11-015 1005 Krobot Way, Milton Preserve, Chris Sears Request(s): To allow two, 16 square feet signs at the entrance of a subdivision zoned TR (Article/Section 64-2303) City of Milton Deerfield Professional Centre 13000 Deerfield Parkway Building 100, Milton, GA 30004 Motion to approve with condition(s): Walter Rekuc Condition(s):  Per the Sears, Smith & Associates site plan dated July 19, 2011  Project shall meet all landscaping requirements, per City of Milton Arborist 2nd: Todd Chernik Vote: 5-0, Motion approved 7. V11-016, 13940 Atlanta National Drive, Aliaune Thiam Request(s): a. To allow a fence/wall in the Northwest Overlay to be opaque (stucco) and wrought iron with stucco columns, adjacent to a public street. b. To allow a fence/wall in the Northwest Overlay to exceed 55” in height, adjacent to a public street. c. To allow chain link fencing that is visible from public view. (Article 64-1142 7a,b, 8) Motion to approve with condition(s): Walter Rekuc Condition(s):  Per the PFVS site plan, dated September 3, 2010  The chain link fence along New Providence road shall be replaced with wrought iron fencing.  The stucco wall shall be a beige color.  Mixed groupings of evergreen and hardwood shall be planted every 20 feet, per the City Arborist.  Fencing should be set back far enough to allow for plantings.  Planting plan along New Providence to be approved by the City Arborist,. 2nd: Nancy Plesnarski Vote: 5-0, Motion approved 8. V11-017, 13700 Highway 9 North, Penn Hodge Request(s): To reduce the number of required parking spaces from 62 to 50 (Article 64-1410) Motion to approve with condition(s): Nancy Plesnarski Condition(s):  Plant the seven required landscape trees, per the City of Milton Tree Ordinance requirements. Consult with City Arborist.  The applicant shall maintain an agreement for overflow parking for the 12 additional parking spaces.  Additional parking spaces shall be adjacent to the subject property. 2nd: Walter Rekuc Vote: 5-0, Motion approved 9.
