Silos at Broadwell, 12455 Broadwell Road Requests(s):  Mixed – Use development to include residential condom iniums (3), retail, and Silos Studios Motion to approve with condition(s): Marty Littleton Condition(s): Subject to the favorable outcome of the BZA hearing 2nd: Tim Bryan Vote: 5-0, Motion approved 6) Final reviews a. Crabapple Merchants Exchange, 12630 Crabapple Road Requests(s):  Change to trim color from previous DRB approval Motion to amend agenda: Rich Johnson 2nd: Marty Littleton Vote: 5-0, Motion approved b. Crabapple Merchants Exchange – Lift Addition, 12630 Crabapple Road Requests(s):  The addition of a lift to the outside of the walkways to deliver material goods to the upper floor tenants and trash removal Motion to amend agenda: Tim Bryan 2nd: Rich Johnson Vote: 5-0, Motion approved c. V17-020, 615 Dorris Road Requests(s):  To allow a pool and pool deck to encroach into the 75 foot impervious stream buffer Comments:  House was built prior to the change in the buffer requirements. Seems to be a legitimate hardship.  Consider using pervious materials for the deck, and adding some sort of drain b. V17-021, 13550 Birmingham Highway Requests(s):  To allow two existing accessory structures to encroach into the 50 foot rear yard minimum No comments. c. V17-022, 20 Dorris Road Requests(s):  To allow an accessory structure to encroach into the 25 foot side yard setback Comments:  We understand the hardship. d. V17-023, 12630 Crabapple Road Suite 110 Requests(s):  To allow two projecting and scrolling wall signs (barber poles) Comments:  No objections. It is in keeping with the style and character of Crabapple. e. Green, 12630 Crabapple Road Requests(s):  Green space with sidewalk, pavers, and planting Comments:  Why is the platform on that side?  Can we look at giving it a barn type feel?  It’s a much needed thing for the area. Ties the whole downtown together. 8) New business  Discussion of dates for 2018 meetings  Staff will send out a meeting request for the McDonald’s site visit. 9) Old business  Update on changes to Bylaws. 10) Adjournment
