9) New business--none
10) Old business—
a. 13933 Alpharetta Hwy, Phoenix Senior Living, Design changes
Applicant spoke about changes made during construction.
Board stated that there were several irregularities that they did not approve
of. They felt that the building is not in the spirit of what they wanted. The
varieties of materials and textures is essential to keep the building from
looking like an apartment building. The approved shake material should
clearly be shake, as opposed to appearing to be siding.
Staff will create a list of the irregularities, and meet with the applicant to
create a plan to address them.
Applicant will present the flag pole proposal at the October meeting.
b. Lee Bates follow up
45 day limit to obtain a permit is September 12th. Code compliance has
sent two courtesy emails to Mr. Bates. No response. Mr. Bates will receive
a notice on the 13th if the permit is not obtained.
