Courtesy review suggestions
Showing too many types of
stone.
S3—too gray
Awnings—peach color will not
weather well. Consider a
darker, richer color; possibly
black or green.
Possibly pick another color for
the brick behind the awnings
so that the do not blend in.
Break up windows across
back. Change out some of
the arches, add horizontal
lines to match front. Possibly
add arches to front.
The two elevations look like
different buildings
Show parapets on side views.
Show thickness of pop-ups.
Bring actual building samples
for final review.
7. Windward Village
Highway 9 & Windward Parkway
Easlan Capital
Turn the corner of the 1st bay
and terminate/wrap parapets
into bay.
Don’t put striped brick on top
of stucco. Brick needs to
support something. Either
brick the entire area with
variations in the brick pattern
or shift upper brick band to
top of base band to make
one thick brick base. Possibly
vary height.
Meter centers should be
screened by something—i.e.
brick wall or lattice with
landscape.
Coordinate elevation with
roof; last 3 bays on elevation
don’t match roof plan.
No mirror glass.
Show roof access ladders on
elevation. Move to interior.
Vary brick/door/awning colors
so that you don’t have one
big blob of dark space.
Show paint colors for metal
and rear doors.
8. Bike/ped trail system
City of Milton, Public Works
Use City of Milton horse as
part of signage.
Concrete is too sterile; limit
use.
Use stamped pavers
w/concrete at major
intersections.
Use gravel pave system where
possible.
Possible stamp logo directly
into pavement.
Surface should be organic in
color, natural
Use decorative fence at
intersections/corners; Center
post with boards falling to
ground, for example.
Signage should be simulated
wood; should meet Overlay
requirements.
Keep natural landscape
along trail; preserve large
trees.
9. LDS Church
2965 Manor Bridge Dr.
Church of Jesus Christ of
Latter-Day Saints, James Revill
The Board supports reducing
the 40’ setback back to 20’,
which will allow the applicant
to move the septic tank back,
and possibly save 3 specimen
trees (if healthy).
Remove dumpster from
Bethany Bend frontage.
Possibly flip Scout Building with
dumpster.
Materials of dumpster,
pavilion and modular wall
shall match building.
10. Changes to Board Kathi Cook resigns as Board
Chair due to schedule
conflicts. Will remain on the
Board.
Terry Herr is elected Board
Chair.
Kathy Cook is elected Board
Vice-Chair.
