Building permit: Boiling Springs United Methodist 1200 Birmingham Road Todd Rainwater Denied, 6-0 11. Building permit : Windward Village Approved with conditions:  At location where wall turns on Windward Parkway & Highway 9 Easlan Capital rear elevation, move column to the left or right so that it does not intersect the door  Concerned about fire access ladder on outside of building. Provide written confirmation for fire department requirement for exterior ladder, otherwise move to interior of building.  Elevations don’t match roof plan  Raised parapet in center section—no side return shown, wrap cornice around end and return full profile to rear of parapet  Screen electric meter units in rear  Roof top units should be screened from eye/ground level 6-0 Note: There was discussion concerning the 25’ buffer behind the building, and adding extra screening. 12. Building permit (courtesy review): North Valley Plaza Highway 9 DEFERRED UNTIL JULY. 13. Variance (courtesy review): Cantina Del Mar 12635 Crabapple Road #320 Elizabeth Riordan Comments:  Paint exhaust fan - color to match roof/metal awning – investigate relocation toward rear of building  Remove gooseneck exhaust vent and provide alterative design to replicate a chimney. 14. Variance (courtesy review): Kolb Commercial 765 & 785 Mid-Broadwell Road Sally Rich-Kolb Comments:  No fence around the ‘natural’ detention pond, if possible  Concerned with the flow of cars around the parking area  Reduce building areas to maintain proper parking lot design and parking ratios.
