Approval of July meeting minutes Approved ; 6-0.* 2. Demo permit: 550 Blue Heron Way Gerald Finegold Approved with conditions:  All erosion and sediment control measures shall be addressed prior to demolition;  Tree protection shall be installed prior to demolition. Location to be approved by City Arborist;  City Arborist has final approval of which trees are to be removed as part of demolition. 6-0. 3. LDP permit: Montessori at Morris Road Morris Rd& Webb Rd Bobby Shayan Approved with conditions:  Fence should be moved behind ROW. Final location to be approved by Staff;  City Arborist shall approve final location/size of proposed tree save area;  Continue sidewalk to the end of property along Webb Road;  Board approval is subject to the City’s issuance of all required permits;  Retaining wall shall be faced with brick or stone to match building. Evergreen screen shall be added per Zoning Ordinance requirements; 5-0 ** 4. Building permit: Windward Village(revision) 12990 Highway 9 Louis Yuan Approved with conditions:  Building shall meet 25% fenestration requirements, per Zoning Ordinance (preferably windows or doors) ;  Building shall meet all requirements for loading docks, per Zoning Ordinance;  Landscape plan shall be revised to show trees along rear road, per the approval of the City Arborist;  Revisions to building shall be electronically sent to Board for approval, prior to issuance of Building permit;  Staff shall have final approval of Building permit and revisions to site plan;  Board also notes that the cornice has been removed from being shown on previous building. 6-0. 5. LDP: Milton Village 611 North Main Street Daniel Esteban Approved with conditions:  Retaining wall on western property line shall be modular block, or faced with brick or stone to match the building (no wood ties);  Dumpster enclosure shall match building and gates shall be of non-combustible materials;  Shoebox lighting fixtures are not allowed, pole height is 28’ feet max. Provide site lighting plan prior to approval of site plan which complies with Zoning Ordinance;  If possible, move transformer from in front of the building;  Incorporate 28” oak into site, if Arborist determines it to be in good condition;  Set up and maintain appropriate BMP’s and tree protection to stay out of critical root zone of the two specimen trees along property line; 6-0. 6. LDP: Hidden Forrest Rec Area 13340 Morris Rd Javad Oskoei Approved with condition(s):  Materials approved as presented; 6-0 7. Courtesy review: Fulton County Schools James R. van den Heuvel  The Board has no issues with the request. 8. Courtesy review: RZ08-08/U08-04/VC08-04 3499, 3501 Bethany Bend Rd Bajun American Properties, LP The Board noted the following:  Due to the proximity of the buildings to each other, Building Codes will probably limit the amount of glass allowed on the side walls. Building would have to be a minimum of 30’ feet apart to remove requirement for fire protection.  The proposed buildings will be much taller the single family detached structures adjacent to this site.  The landscape area around the clubhouse and pool should be more than 10’; add a mix of evergreens; possibly plant up to the fence line.  The Board approves of using green space to break up the site.  The Board approves of building facing road. 9. Courtesy review: U08-05/VC08-05 1150 Birmingham Road Milton Conservation Burial Partners  The Board inquired about the location of the buffer in relation to the owner’s residence, how the graves will be marked, if any specimen trees will be removed, and how the site will be traversed. *Alex Paulson was absent from the meeting. **Eddie Moore was not present for the vote.
