After BZA meeting, applicant should present a new plan which shows the following: • Save 33” specimen tree in center of property, save chestnuts in front of property, save or relocate fruit trees at rear of property • Clearly indicate how construction will be phased • Indicate that the two existing curb cuts/driveways will be removed once construction is completed Requested to meet with City Staff to understand relocation of proposed road as recommended by the Crabapple Plan. If approved, applicant should return to DRB with new plan showing the following: • The 60’ and 40’ front setbacks should be heavily landscaped, for the entire length of the property, with a mixture of evergreens, with variable sizes and heights. • All disturbed areas to be grassed. • Max size of one ‘building’ to be limited to 25,000 sq ft, with a max length of 80’. Elevations should be offset. • Remove proposed berm along Redd Road. • Plant screening around entire perimeter of greenhouses—interior to the property. Trees should have max height as tall as greenhouses. • Replace chain link fence with 3 or 4 board horse fence. Applicant should hire landscape architect to prepare planting plan meeting requirements. CRABAPPLE STATION V07-004 RECOMMEND APPROVAL W/ CONDITIONS: • Attempt to obtain letter of approval from other adjoining property owner. • Plant minimum one ornamental tree in grass area adjacent to each unit’s driveway. • Plant hedge, as requested by adjacent property owner, at edge of the required 25’ undisturbed buffer. Plants to be 6-8’ max height. • Plant mixture of min 4” caliper evergreen trees within the required 25’ undisturbed buffer.
