ARNOLD MILL ROAD DEMO 1205 Arnold Mill Road David Caragher Approved with conditions:  Install tree save fencing around existing tree line to identify limits of disturbance. VICKERY CREST AMENITY AREA Donegal Lane Rodney Reese Approved with conditions:  Provide a min. 10’ landscape screen between tennis courts and stream buffer (outside of stream buffer).  Any lights to be shielded to prevent spillover on neighboring properties, per Overlay standards.  Use only materials permitted per the Overlay for new structures. Main Street RJD Architects, LLC Approved with conditions:  The three windows on the rear elevations should be real windows with shadowboxes on the inside.  The windows that are shown as wood on the right elevations should be recessed brick with a metal frame.  No mullions in bricked in windows.  Install roof ladder on the inside of the building.  No rooftop equipment shall be visible from the street. PROVIDENCE ROAD BOOSTER PUMP STATION Providence Road Ryan Bracewell Approved with conditions:  All trees planted shall be 5” caliper, 5’ tall.  Underbrush along tree line should remain, except that along Providence, underbrush and limbs may be cleared 75’ back from edge of curb, up to 5’ off ground.  Roof and all painted surfaces shall be dark bronze.  Chain link fence to be black vinyl. HICKORY FLAT HORSE FARM Hickory Flat Road Scott Reese  The dressage facility should be an open structure stadium, with a muted, natural roof color.  Cannot support eliminating tree recompense.  Accessory buildings should be constructed to match the style of the barn.  Contribute monies to the City Sidewalk Fund in lieu of building sidewalks.  Cannot support reduction in buffer. Decision on whether buffer is required or shall be planted should be left up to staff. HOPEWELL ROAD DEMO 12830 Hopewell Road Sam McCullough Approved with conditions:  Delay demo for 90 days; work with staff and local CoM Historical Steering Committee to try to have house moved to another location within the City of Milton. Give proof of effort to City Staff. NAVY FEDERAL CREDIT UNION Hwy 9 Deferred:  Applicant shall have approval of Deerfield Design Review Board before returning to the City of Milton DRB.  Proposed building materials do not match existing Hwy 9 buildings.  Move drive-through so that it does not front on Windward Parkway; should be more internal.  Add something to corner that will represent/id community.  Building should meet all Hwy 9 Overlay requirements.  Building should incorporate red brick, as seen on Hwy 9, and traditional architecture.  Relocate dumpster.  Beef up landscaping.  All modular block walls shall be faced with brick, per Overlay requirements.  Take a look at lighting foot-candles. COURTESY REVIEWS RZ07-007 VC07-005 Highway 9 North& Deerfield Parkway Sembler Company, LLC Brian Snelling  The proposed Kohl’s building is too big for the site.  Don’t try to maximize space at the expense of the Hwy 9 residents.  Consider turning building.  Back delivery area should not face Deerfield Parkway.  Consider adding an L-shaped structure to screen truck docks.  Note that Hwy 9 Overlays requires building materials to continue around corner. Elevation facing Deerfield Parkway should be architecturally designed like the front and Hwy 9 elevation.
