Recommendations:
Replace chain link fence next to dock well
On left elevation: scale of element in
middle should come down/become
smaller, lower feature to band height .
Needs to be humanized.
Add more brick vs. EFIS
Details of building should better match
adjacent buildings
Khols should have a better presentation to
Hwy 9; there is no connection between
corner and other buildings. Landscaping
on that side should be more free form.
Add more brick and other architectural
elements; brick water table, brick box outs
Add planted arbors to break up large
expanse of stucco
Make sure the back of the fake parapets
are finished if visible.
Put sidewalk as close to building as
possible.
Add a plaza area.
Add period lighting, columns, lighting,
etc.

Recommendations:
Seems to be too much on this site
Try to make more of a wooded campus
Include pervious pathways
Save as many hardwoods as possible
Parking should be more freeform; work
around trees; no curb
This would be a good opportunity to blend
two types of though: a organic site with a
high tech building
Consider not building a square building
U07-006/VC07-013
Recommendations:
Board requests that the applicant meet
with the City Arborist/Staff to determine
screening needs
Possibly plant screening on boulders
surrounding area
