Request(s):
To allow a dog ear/capped fence adjacent to a public street
To allow a fence adjacent to a public street to exceed 55”
To allow a fence adjacent to a public street to remain its
natural color
To allow a fence adjacent to a public street to be opaque
Member supports City’s effort to limit what style of fence can go
along the road.
They are trying to prevent unmaintained, sagging dog eared fences.
You would obtain better results with noise abatement with trees.
Suggests that the applicant gets a letter of support from the
adjacent property owners.
b) V12-012, 13344 Flamingo Road, Javad Oskoei
Request(s):
To reduce the side setback on lot 107 from 15’ to 10’
The applicant clearly has a hardship, due to the sewer.
There is no house on the side of the reduction. Anyone buying the
other houses will see the existing house when they buy.
c) V12-013, 16485 Hopewell Road, Antonio Hernandez
Request(s):
To allow a guest house in the front yard
House won’t be seen from the street.
Take plans for new house to BZA meeting.
